Cincinnati Chili

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs Ground Chuck

  • 1 qt Beef Stock

  • 2 Onions, chopped

  • 1 Garlic clove, chopped

  • 4 tbsp Chili Powder

  • 1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper

  • Salt and Pepper

  • 1 1/2 tbsp White Vinegar

  • 1 can 15 oz Tomato Sauce

  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 dashed Worcestershire Sauce

  • PLACE THE FOLLOWING IN A CHEESECLOTH:

  • 5 Bay Leaves

  • 35 Whole Allspice

Instructions:
  1. In large pot combine ground chuck and beef stock.

  2. Cook until all red has cooked out of the meat.

  3. Add remaining ingredients to pot.

  4. Simmer over low heat for about 3 hours.

  5. You may need to add water.

How to Serve:
  • Serve warm over thin spaghetti.

  • Top with the following toppings:

  • Grated Cheddar Cheese

  • Oyster Crackers

  • Vidalia Onions, chopped

  • Kidney Beans

  • Hot sauce
